Description

A bottle of Glen Albyn 26 Year Old. This was distilled in 1975 and bottled in May 2002 for Diageo's now discontinued Rare Malts Selection range.

This is bottle number 4980.

Glen Albyn was founded in 1846 by James Sutherland, a local landowner and mayor of Inverness. After a turbulent history, including time spent as a US naval base for mine manufacturing, Glen Albyn closed for good in 1983 and demolished a few years later.

This Glen Albyn 1975 26 Year Old sold at our online auction for £290
