Description

A bottle of Rosebank 20 Year Old. This was distilled in 1979 and bottled in October 1999 for Diageo's Rare Malts Selection.

This is bottle number 3988.

Rosebank was a Lowland distillery that operated on the same site from 1840 until it was mothballed in 1993. The whisky produced there typified the light, floral Lowland style, and like some of its neighbours, the whisky was triple-distilled. Jim Murray (Whisky Bible) maintained that Rosebank should be ranked in the top 5 of all Scottish malts.

This Rosebank 1979 20 Year Old sold at our online auction for £700
