Description

A bottle of Karuizawa bottled in 2012 for the Tokyo International Bar Show. The whisky comes from the final two years of distillation before Karuizawa closed for good, 1999 and 2000. These whiskies were vatted and matured further at Chichibu distillery.

Karuizawa 'Marrying' Cask for TIBS: 2565.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, it became the first distillery to export whisky overseas. Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.
