Description

A limited release bottle of Auchentoshan Valinch single malt Scotch whisky. This was triple distilled, matured in North American bourbon casks, and bottled in 2011.

The valinch is the name of the pipette used to draw whisky straight from the cask.

Since Auchentoshan distillery was built in 1817 (then named Duntocher), it has withstood 13 different owners, bankruptcy, and a bombing raid in World War II. It is the only Scotch distillery to triple-distil all its whisky, and 100% of its output goes into its single malt bottlings.
