This is bottle number 456 of 1926.
Glenury Royal was founded in 1825 near Stonehaven in the Eastern Highlands by Captain Robert Barclay, a colourful character who once walked 1000 miles in 1000 hours to win a bet. Glenury fell silent in 1983 and was closed 1985.
