A miniature bottle of Talisker with the black label, gold eagle design. This was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, we estimate in the 1970s.
Please note, there is no size stated on the label.
Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. This contains a small amount of sediment.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
