A bottle of Rosebank 19 Year Old Douglas of Drumlanrig This was distilled in February 1990, matured in a single refill hogshead, and bottled in October 2009 by Langside Distillers.
This is one of 138 bottles; it was bottled from cask number 5592.
Rosebank was a Lowland distillery that operated on the same site from 1840 until it was mothballed in 1993. The whisky produced there typified the light, floral Lowland style, and like some of its neighbours, the whisky was triple-distilled. Jim Murray (Whisky Bible) maintained that Rosebank should be ranked in the top 5 of all Scottish malts.
