This lot contains four bottles of Nikka Yoichi Japanese single malt whisky:

1 x Nikka Yoichi 10 Year Old, 70cl, 45% ABV

1 x Nikka Yoichi 12 Year Old, 70cl, 45% ABV

1 x Nikka Yoichi 15 Year Old, 70cl, 45% ABV

1 x Nikka Yoichi 20 Year Old, 70cl, 52% ABV

These bottles were imported to France by La Maison du Whisky.

Yoichi distillery was founded in 1934 and is the oldest Nikka Whisky distillery, the other being Miyagikyo in Sendai. Yoichi's location on the northern island of Hokkaido was chosen by Masataka Taketsuru, who noted similarities to what he had found during his years in Scotland: clean air, a good humidity for maturing whisky, and an abundance of water filtered through layers of peat.
