Description

A decanter of Auchentoshan Lowland single malt which was released for sale on board the QE2 cruise ship. This hand-cut ships decanter was produced by Glencairn Crystal Studio and comes with a stopper and presentation case. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s to 1990s.

Since Auchentoshan distillery was built in 1817 (then named Duntocher), it has withstood 13 different owners, bankruptcy, and a bombing raid in World War II. It is the only Scotch distillery to triple-distil all its whisky, and 100% of its output goes into its single malt bottlings.

Condition
