Description

A bottle of Auchentoshan 31 Year Old. This was distilled on 4 November 1965, matured in a single hogshead, and bottled in 1997.

This was bottled from cask number 2511.

Since Auchentoshan distillery was built in 1817 (then named Duntocher), it has withstood 13 different owners, bankruptcy, and a bombing raid in World War II. It is the only Scotch distillery to triple-distil all its whisky, and 100% of its output goes into its single malt bottlings.
