Description

A bottle of Rosebank 20 Year Old from Diageo's Rare Malts Selection. This was distilled in 1981 and bottled at cask strength in May 2002.

This is bottle number 3861.

Rosebank was a Lowland distillery that operated on the same site from 1840 until it was mothballed in 1993. The whisky produced there typified the light, floral Lowland style, and like some of its neighbours, the whisky was triple-distilled. Jim Murray (Whisky Bible) maintained that Rosebank should be ranked in the top 5 of all Scottish malts.

This Rosebank 1981 20 Year Old sold at our online auction for £550
