Description

A bottle of Karuizawa 1984. This was distilled in 1984, matured in an first fill sherry casks, and bottled in 2012 by Number One Drinks Company for Speciality Drinks Ltd.

It was bottled from cask number 4021.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, it became the first distillery to export whisky overseas. Sadly, Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.

This Karuizawa 1984 Cask #4021 sold at our online auction for £2,700
