Description

A bottle of Talisker 1993 Distillers Edition. This was double matured in amoroso sherry casks and bottled in 2007.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
