A bottle of Talisker 1989, released in 1999 exclusively for the Friends of the Classic Malts.

This is bottle number 4664 of 7000.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
