A litre bottle of Marconcini Arquebuse, an Italian liqueur flavoured with a variety of herbs and extracts. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s.
Arquebuse, also known as Acqua di Arquebuse, was originally created in France in 1857 by herbalist Frère Emmanuel, and was used to heal wounds inflicted by the firearms of the day, including the long gun known as an Arquebus.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels and damage to the capsule. This bottle contains some sediment.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
