A bottle of Fettercairn 7 Year Old. This was distilled 31 March 2009, matured in ex-bourbon hogsheads, and bottled on 15 August 2016 by Morrison & Mackay Ltd. for Dramboree 2017, a weekend of whisky tastings and events.

This is bottle number 14 of 90.

Fettercairn distillery was founded in 1825 by local landowner Sir Alexander Ramsay and is set in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains. The distillery was sold just five years later to Sir John Gladstone, father of British Prime Minister William Gladstone. During his time in office, Gladstone passed legislation to reduce tax on whisky.
