Description

A limited edition bottle of Talisker 35 Year Old. This was distilled in 1977, matured in a combination of refill American and European oak casks, and bottled in 2012.

This is bottle number 0273 of 3090.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
