A large bottle of French rhum, presented in a glass bottle wrapped in straw and covered in wooden panels.
The metal collar is embossed with the following words: Perrin Fils - Rognonas - Brevete S. GDG
The tag reads: Rhum 1936 BB. This suggests that this is an agricole rhum from the French Caribbean that was filled into this bottle in 1936.
The wax seal is embossed with a Fleur-de-lis.
There is no size or ABV stated, but this appears to be approximately 10 litres.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. The wooden panels are damaged in places due to age, the structure is mainly solid, but should be handled with care. The two handles on each side should not be used to lift the bottle.
There are some small fragments of cork in the liquid.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
