A bottle of Talisker 57° North, the island representative in Diageo's Classic Malts of Scotland range. The name is inspired by the Isle of Skye’s coordinates, as it sits on a latitude of 57 degrees North. This is presented in a wooden box with a compass, which is missing.
Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
