Description

A half bottle of Chartreuse liqueur, which we estimate was bottled between 1941 and 1951.

The label is missing and there is no size or ABV stated. We believe this to be a 37.5cl bottle of Yellow Chartreuse, which would have been bottled at 43% ABV. This bottle comes from a family cellar in Nottingham where it has been held for as long as the family can remember.

Please see condition statement prior to bidding.

This Chartreuse Yellow sold at our online auction for £160

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the label and capsule. This bottle has had some leakage in the past, and as such is available for collection only.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.

While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak further.
