Description

A bottle of Bruichladdich X4 Islay New Spirit newmake.

This is produced from barley distilled four times in Victorian copper stills and bottled without ageing in oak casks, a traditional spirit from the Western Isles, based on a 17th century recipe.

Although it is distilled from barley, the lack of cask ageing means that this is not technically whisky.
