Description

A bottle of Macnair's Finest Old Liqueur Highland Whisky. A blend of "...the finest Scotch Malts imported in wood direct from Scotland and blended with Old Canadian Grain Whisky in Canada...."

This bottle is from the collection of Bill Pigati, whose family have owned Del Rio, a famous restaurant near Chicago, since the 1920s.

The majority of the bottles in the collection were purchased in the 1940s and early 1950s, and it is mainly comprised of blended scotch whiskies, which were very popular during the period.

Some of these gems are from the famous big names we all recognise, however there are many amazing brands with beautiful labels that we know very little about which are much sought after by collectors around the world.

Please see the pictures for more information.
