Nikka 40 Year Old 80th Anniversary 70cl / 43%
A bottle of The Nikka 40 Year Old. This was produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of Nikka.
This blend is said to include Yoichi distilled in 1945, and Miyagikyo from 1969, with a malt content around 70%.
The bottle design is inspired by the layers of a kimono, and the Nikka emblem was hand-carved by Edobori craftsman, marrying traditional carving methods and modern sandblasting techniques. The stoppers are made from the wood of the casks used in the blend, and it comes with a tumbler.
