Lot Information

An old bottle of Gilka Kümmel, a liqueur from Germany flavoured with caraway, cumin and fennel. We estimate this was bottled in the 1910s.

The shoulder label reads: Contents 7 Gills.

A gill is a unit of measurement equal to approximately one-quarter of a pint, which would make this bottle approximately 83cl.

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
