A bottle of Glenury Royal 20 Year Old from Duncan Taylor's Rarest of the Rare series, a range of cask strength, single cask whiskies from distilleries which no longer exist.

This was distilled in July 1984, and bottled in June 2005.

This is bottle number 119 of 281; it was bottled from cask number 3048.

Glenury Royal was founded in 1825 near Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire in the Eastern Highlands by Captain Robert Barclay, a colourful character who once walked 1000 miles in 1000 hours to win a bet. Glenury fell silent in 1983 and was closed 1985.
