Hanyu 1988 The Big Butt Full Proof Europe Cask #9306 70cl

A very limited bottling of 1988 vintage Hanyu for Full Proof Europe - bottle No.68 of 200.

This big butt #9306 was split in two and the majority of the liquid was bottled for the Hanyu Noh Series by Number One Drinks in 2009. The rest was bottled for Full Proof Europe.

Full Proof Europe was established in 2006 by Jeroen Koetsier, who had first tried Hanyu single malt the previous year at the Highlander Inn hotel in Craigellachie Scotland.

This outstanding Japanese whisky comes from the now sadly defunct Hanyu distillery, which stopped distilling in 2000 and was dismantled in 2004.
