Description

An old 90cl bottle of Fernet-Branca herbal liqueur. The duty medal indicates that this was bottled during World War II, between 1943 and 1945.

Due to the shortages of war, there is a label on the back of the bottle requesting that the glass is returned for reuse, here is a translation from the original Italian:

The supply of another bottle of this product is subject to the return of the empty one. The deposit for this glass will be returned to you when you return it as empty and not otherwise used.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels and damage to the metal capsule, the duty medal is detached and taped to the bottle.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
