The box reminds us that this was named as 'Best Spirit in the World' by F. Paul Pacult of the Spirit Journal in the June 2005 issue. It also states that 'After 18 years old, Highland Park has deepened and refined all the 12 year old's classic hallmarks of heather honey, peat and smokiness. This expression, gently matured for a further six years or more, has a natural bright colour with a rich bouquet of mature oak and aromatic smoke. Its full flavour of honey and peat culminates in a delightful long finish that is round and soft.'
