An exclusive bottling of whisky from Karuizawa for Speciality Drinks, part of a vatting of 77 casks, bottled at 55% in 2012.

This single malt has been crafted from hand-selected European oak sherry casks of whisky distilled in 1999 and 2000, the final vintages of Karuizawa.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, they became the first distillery to export whisky overseas.

Sadly, Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.
