A bottle of Chateau Renmano Pure Grape Brandy from South Australia. This was distilled by Renmark Growers' Distillery Limited and bottled by a Hull-based company whose name is not visible on the label, though we suspect it may be BB Mason & Company. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s.

The label reads: Specially imported under licence from HM Government - Maximum price 39/- per bottle.

Budget April 1948 - The authorised price of this bottle is increased by 2/3.
