Description

A bottle of Three Seal blended Scotch whisky. This was imported in bulk and bottled by Washington State Liquor Control Board, we estimated in the early 1950s.

There is a handwritten note on the label that reads: Seattle, Wash. Aug 25 - '51.

This bottle is from the collection of Bill Pigati, whose family have owned Del Rio, a famous restaurant near Chicago, since the 1920s.

The majority of the bottles in the collection were purchased in the 1940s and early 1950s, and it is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies, which were very popular during the period.

This Three Seal sold at our online auction for £115
