Description

A bottle of Taylor's 1982 Quinta de Vargellas single quinta vintage port, bottled in 1984, in its original presentation box with a plastic decanting filter.

Vargellas is located in the hilly eastern reaches of the Douro valley and has had a reputation since the 1820s for producing wines of immense fragrance and sinewy tannins, making them a key component to Taylor's Vintage Ports.

The original part of Quinta de Vargellas forms a steep, north facing amphitheatre of terraced vineyards above the River Douro.
