A miniature bottle of St Magdalene from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This whisky was distilled in February 1975, matured for 18 years, and bottled at 61.1% ABV in September 1993.
This was imported to the Japanese market by Tenman Shoten Ltd
St Magdalene (also known as Linlithgow) was a Lowland distillery that operated for over 200 years before closing in 1983. Since then, it has become one of the most lamented lost distilleries and its whiskies are highly sought-after.

However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
