A bottle of Bruichladdich Renaissance. This bottling was produced using some of the first spirit distilled at Bruichladdich under Murray McDavid ownership. This was distilled on 11 September 2001 and matured for nine years in bourbon casks.
This is bottle number 0670 of 2500.
Please note this bottle was purchased to commemorate Gavin McMahon, who was one of 67 Britons who sadly lost their lives during the events of 9/11. Gavin was on the 105th Floor of the South Tower when the planes struck. Gavin's name and details are written on the bottle by his nephew, who served in the British Army, carrying out combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq as part of the war on terror.
