A bottle of Highland Park 1977, released in 1998 to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary.

Due to the popularity of this bottling, stocks rapidly sold out worldwide. In 2008, a forgotten cache of the 1977 vintage was discovered in a Tokyo warehouse. The decision was made to repatriate this stock and make it available to a new audience.
