Description

A bottle of Talisker Port Ruighe Single Malt Scotch Whisky which spent its final maturation period in port casks prior to bottling at 45.8% ABV.

Port Ruighe, or Portree, is the largest town on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.

Talisker was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill and is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. The Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson described it as 'the king o' drinks', and it is known for its powerful peat smoke and maritime character.
