Description

A bottle of Karuizawa 30 Year Old Japanese Single Malt Whisky. This was distilled on 30 July 1981 and bottled at cask strength in July 2012 for the Directors of Number One Drinks.

This is one of 347 bottles; it was bottled from cask number 2084.

Karuizawa was founded in 1955 and was Japan’s smallest whisky distillery. In 1959, it became the first distillery to export whisky overseas. Sadly, Karuizawa distillery stopped production in 2000 and closed for good in 2011.
