A bottle of Springbank single malt Scotch whisky. This was distilled on 11 July 1972 aged in a oak cask and bottled from a single cask by Murray McDavid exclusively for La Réserve. The bottling code indicates this was bottled in 1994.
This was bottled from cask number 141.
La Réserve was a small chain of London wine shops founded in the 1980s by Mark Reynier and Simon Coughlin. In 1996, the pair partnered with Springbank distillery owner Gordon Wright to found independent bottler Murray McDavid.
