A limited edition bottle of Bruichladdich Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled in 1986 and matured in pale oloroso sherry butts.
This bottling was selected by Jim McEwan, Master Distiller, and Malcolm Greenwood, Whisky Writer, on the morning of Friday 10 August 2001, from Warehouse 5.
The whisky was distilled 100 years after Alfred Barnard's visit to Bruichladdich distillery, and includes a book by Malcolm Greenwood, 'Unique Distilleries of Scotland & Ireland, In the Footsteps of Alfred Barnard.'
This is bottle number 83 of 150.
