A bottle of Arran 27 Year Old 1995, The Bad Fairy.
'I recently bottled a refill Sherry hogshead from the founding year of Arran distillery as a "drinking and gifting cask" for my private family company at 27 years old (I think this is the oldest age-stated Arran at the moment). The cask was filled in December 1995, it is bottled at cask strength, 232 bottles. It’s really very, very good for an early Arran. The bottling is called "Bad Fairy" in reference to the fairies of Arran and has a number of "Easter-eggs" on the label, so it’s quite cool. Can anyone can spot all four Easter-eggs? I'll donate another bottle to the charity if someone spots them all.'
'None of these bottles have been commercially sold and none will be, like I say, this is a private drinking/gifting cask of mine. Also, none have ever been sold at auction.' Andy Simpson.
'This has been donated by Andy Simpson, whisky connoisseur and collector. Many thanks, Andy.' Charlie Maclean.
