Description

A bottle of Pimm's No.1 Cup, perhaps England's most famous summer drink. This was produced by H W Davies & Co Ltd, 6 Billiter Street, London, EC, we estimate in the 1960s to 1970s. The side of the bottle is graduated with seven embossed numbers: 'each division is sufficient to make one pint by the addition of bottled or syphon lemonade.'

Please note there is no size or ABV stated, but this appears to be a 75cl bottle.

Please note this bottle contains sediment.

This Pimm's No.1 Cup sold at our online auction for £22

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Please note damage to label and this bottle contains sediment.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
