A bottle of Arran 27 Year Old 1995 Carrera RS 2.7.

I recently bottled a refill Sherry hogshead from the founding year of Arran distillery as a ‘drinking and gifting cask’ for my private family company and called it Bad Fairy.

I used a small part of the cask and diluted it to 42.7% ABV to do an underground bottling commemorating the 1972/1973 Porsche Carrara RS 2.7. The very first Porsche to bear ‘Carrera’ on it’s name. There are only 27 bottles. It’s completely unofficial and unendorsed.

It is 27 years old, from the founding year of Arran, commemorating the founding year of ‘Carrera’ RS 2.7, 42.7%, 27 bottles… you’ll see the ‘2.7’ theme! This will be the only one at auction (unless someone I gift one to sells it, which would be unlikely).

'It comes from the first year of production at Isle of Arran Distillery and is extremely rare. An "underground release" (1 of only 27 bottles) it commemorates Porsche’s 1972/1973 Carrera RS 2.7, described as “the ultimate road-going Porsche of the 1970s." Only 200 of these cars were made and the bottles were released for the exclusive Porsche owners Club.'
