Description

This lot contains two bottles, Royal Lochnagar 26 Year Old distilled in November 1994 and Auchroisk 38 Year Old, distilled in 1982 and bottled for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

'This 26 Year Old cask of Royal Lochnagar was selected by me and bottled as part of Diageo's Casks of Distinction series to raise money for Scottish Ballet. The SMWS cask number 95.39 is the oldest Auchroisk I have encountered, and unusually was filled into European oak.' Charlie Maclean.
