The back label reads:

Pappy completes a round at the 18th with his faithful 'Caddy' (and sometimes hunting dog) Buck. The character of this fine old Kentucky Bourbon matches that of a true character, Julian P 'Pappy' Van Winkle, Sr.

This bottle comes from the collection of Richard Crobar, owner of The Crobar in London’s Soho for 20 years until its closure during Covid. In storage since then, Richard has decided it's time to put the collection up for sale. He says: ‘If you end up owning one or more of them, I hope they give you as much pleasure as they have given me over the years.’
