Description

A litre bottle of yellow Chartreuse VEP liqueur. The bottle and wax seal are an exact replica of those used up until 1840. The first Chartresue VEP was sold in 1963.

The Carthusian monks that produce Chartreuse select a small portion of the liqueur each year for extra ageing. VEP stands for 'Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé', which translates as 'exceptionally prolonged aging'.

This is bottle number 31330.

This Chartreuse VEP Yellow sold at our online auction for £1,200
