A 95cl bottle of Veritable Arquebuse from Distillerie Chavin, an Italian liqueur flavoured with a variety of herbs and extracts. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s to 1950s.
Arquebuse, also known as Acqua di Arquebuse, was originally created in France in 1857 by herbalist Frère Emmanuel, and was used to heal wounds inflicted by the firearms of the day, including the long gun known as an Arquebus.
