Description

A bottle of Cusenier Crème d'Allas Kümmel liqueur from France. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s.

Allasch is a variety of Kümmel caraway liqueur. In 1823, Dutch Baron von Blanckenhagen established the Allasch distillery on his country estate near Riga, Latvia, so he could produce his family’s personal kümmel recipe: a distillate of cumin, caraway, and sugar beet spirit.

There is no size or ABV stated on the bottle, but we estimate it is approximately 50cl.
