Description

A bottle of AnCnoc Flaughter, produced at Knockdhu distillery. This is named after the Flaughter, the hand tool used to remove the top layer of peat which is richer and more rooty, this is peated to 14.8ppm.

The Knockdhu distillery closed in 1983 and when production resumed in 1989 the owners decided to rename the whisky AnCnoc (Gaelic for 'The Hill') to avoid confusion with Knockando.
