A bottle of Karuizawa 2000 Single Cask Malt Japanese Whisky. This was distilled in 2000, matured in a single sherry cask and bottled at cask strength of 61.45 ABV in 2016.
This is one of five bottlings from Karuizawa distillery known as the Katsushika Geisha, or the Five Beauties of Katsushika, which were released in spring 2018. Each label features a print by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Yashima Gatukei, a student of Hokusai, from his series 'A Set of Five Designs for the Katsushika Group: Textiles Dyed the Colors of Spring Dawn'.
This is one of 522 bottles; it was bottled from cask number 7497 and features the image 'freshly budded bracken'.
