A bottle of Bruichladdich WMD 1984 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky composed of whisky from 60% refill bourbon barrels, 20% refill Oloroso casks and 20% refill Fino casks.
The back label reads: The celebrated author George Owell lived at Barnhill about 20 miles away on Jura, where he wrote just after WWI the epic prediction of the future: the possibilities of a New World Order, and of a total government control. Perhaps he was right after all, as we had the Defence Threat Reduction Agency spying on us in their search for WMD (Whisky of Mass Distinction).
This is bottle number 183 of 440 bottles.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear.
